Shag and Al Grigg were invited to host their first Simpsons trivia back in March, 2013 at Good God Small Club. The idea was always to go beyond the usual, played-out, internet-sourced content, and to create something challenging and nostalgic for fans, by fans. After the first night was completely booked out... then the second… then the third, they knew they were on to something. Since then they’ve hosted over 20 Simpsons trivia nights between them, including a run dedicated to seasons 1 through 10, a night dedicated to Treehouse of Horror and even a night dedicated to the Christmas specials, all without ever repeating a question once.
To celebrate Matt Groening at GRAPHIC, Shag is bringing back Simpsons Trivia for one afternoon only at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday Nov 5! There'll be two sessions, at 2pm and 3pm, and a host of cromulent prizes thanks to Fox and Kinokunya. It's completely free, but spaces are limited, so get in early - and keep watching the skies!
The Graphic digital exhibition will feature art, comics and illustrations representing the breadth and diversity of the artists in the program.
